Welcoming Sei Builders to Hypernative’s End-to-End Security Platform

Hypernative's real-time threat prevention and automated risk mitigation platform is securing the Sei network and projects that build on it

Hypernative

In June 2024, Sei adopted Hypernative's real-time threat detection and response platform to secure its network, extending the protection to key dApps building on the industry's fastest parallel blockchain. Since then, a number of projects in the ecosystem have joined the Hypernative security umbrella, including DragonSwap, Pit Finance, Takara Lend, Silo, Yei Finance, and many more.

Sei addresses traditional blockchain performance constraints to deliver unparalleled speed -- 400ms to finality and up to 100 megagas per second -- while maintaining EVM compatibility. Sei tapped Hypernative to enhance the network's underlying security with ecosystem-wide monitoring that covers a broad range of attack surfaces and risk vectors including bridges, internal infrastructure smart contracts, multisig wallets, treasury and token allocations, and more.

"Sei is pushing the boundaries of blockchain performance, and we’re proud to provide the security infrastructure that allows its ecosystem to grow safely and confidently. Protecting builders from day one is how we keep innovation moving forward."

As part of the Hypernative integration, key projects building on Sei get access to Hypernative's solutions and receive assistance in configuring and setting up security monitoring and prevention flows. With Hypernative Platform, the projects can leverage high-accuracy detection for the overwhelming majority of attacks and have the means to respond with automated actions and alerts, often getting precious minutes of lead time before the first hack transaction.

Let's see how the projects are leveraging Hypernative's real-time solution to secure their protocols and their users:

  • DragonSwap is using watchlists to track key components of its onchain infrastructure. The setup provides alerts when the protocol's contracts are referenced in a suspicious context, allowing the team to stay ahead of threats;
  • Pit Finance is proactively securing its protocol with dedicated watchlists that monitor strategic financial contracts, multisig wallets, and vault infrastructure. The setup gives the team real-time awareness of critical contract governance activity like a threshold change or a new owner being added to their multisig;
  • Silo's active monitoring setup consists of a watchlist covering core contracts, custom agents tracking balance changes on Arbitrum and Ethereum to detect potential anomalies, and alert actions piped to designated Slack channels. The team has received multiple meaningful risk insights across governance and security domains, including contract ownership transfers and key assets being mentioned as potential targets in unusual contracts;
  • Takara Lend set up customized event-based logic that resulted in multiple critical detections, including a pending admin change event where the new pending address did not match the expected address, an attempt to upgrade an HToken contract by someone who should not have access to it, and an oracle ownership transfer event where the new owner address differed from the expected one;
  • Yei Finance is leveraging a layered detection and automation strategy, combining watchlists, onchain actions, and a custom monitoring agent to safeguard key components of its ecosystem. The team successfully detected multiple token approvals to known phishing and scamming addresses, proactively protecting user funds.

"Hypernative gives us the early-warning system we need to scale Yei with confidence. Their monitoring and response tools flag abnormal onchain activity quickly, so we can act fast to protect users and the protocol. The team’s hands-on support means we’re not just covered—we’re ahead. With Hypernative in place, we can focus on growing our money markets and building new features without second-guessing contract security."

Sei builders join over 200 Web3 projects that rely on Hypernative’s real-time enterprise-grade platform that monitors over $100B worth of digital assets across more than 60 chains. The list includes Amber, Aptos, Balancer, Blockdaemon, Chainlink, Circle, Consensys, Ethena, eToro, Galaxy, Kraken, Linea, Morpho, Quantstamp, Reown, Solana, Starknet, and Uniswap.

About DragonSwap

DragonSwap is the central hub for DeFi on Sei offering an AMM, Predictions Market and Permissionless Farms. Designed to be user-friendly and Sei community-driven, DragonSwap has grown to be the highest-performant parallelized liquidity hub running on Sei V2 with $27M in TVL, 260K+ users, and more than $2B of all-time volume.

About Pit Finance

Pit Finance is a decentralized yield optimizer built exclusively for the Sei Network, designed to maximize the potential of crypto assets. Leveraging advanced strategies and technology, Pit Finance enables users and protocols to deposit digital assets and earn optimized yields while prioritizing security and efficiency within the Sei ecosystem.

About Silo

Silo offers simple and secure Liquid Staking on Sei, powered by MEV. Sei holders can stake their tokens with Silo, SEI is then staked with validators running Silo’s MEV validator client, which allows them to capture MEV profits and distribute back to stakers.

About Takara Lend

Takara is a decentralized, open-source money market protocol natively built on the Sei blockchain. Powered by Sei’s high-throughput consensus mechanism and parallelized block processing, Takara offers lightning-fast, cost-efficient transactions, creating an optimized environment for borrowing and lending digital assets.

About Yei Finance

Yei Finance is an omnichain liquidity infrastructure designed to solve pain points in DeFi by maximizing capital efficiency and unlocking multiple yield layers through Liquidity Stacking. Yei Finance transforms single-use liquidity into a multi-functional resource, combining a money market, swap, and cross-chain hub into a seamless super app.

About Hypernative

Hypernative is a real-time monitoring, risk detection and automated response solution that identifies threats with high accuracy and gives customers precious minutes to respond before exploits can do damage. The platform tracks both onchain and offchain data sources and uses battle-tested, sophisticated machine learning models, heuristics, simulations, and graph-based detections to identify over 200 risk types, from smart contract hacks and bridge security incidents to frontend compromises, market manipulations and private key theft.
