As the $15B+ digital asset manager expands into onchain yield and protocol-level activity, it integrates automated exploit detection, dynamic response workflows, and onchain controls
Bitwise Asset Management, one of the earliest institutional digital asset managers with more than $15B of assets under management, has selected Hypernative to enhance security and automated capital protection across its expanding decentralized finance operations.
The integration comes as Bitwise launches new vault infrastructure and deepens its participation in DeFi markets, including Morpho-based strategies. As Bitwise increases onchain activity, its operational footprint now includes vault allocation strategies, collateral monitoring, interest rate model contracts, and protocol governance interactions. This evolution requires risk management infrastructure that operates at the same speed as onchain markets.
As we launch new vault infrastructure and expand our participation in DeFi, security and risk mitigation are of paramount importance. We chose Hypernative for their real-time monitoring and threat detection. With Hypernative integrated into our workflows, we’re able to automatically respond to threat alerts, protecting vault assets and reinforcing investor confidence as we scale.

Hypernative’s machine learning engines analyze suspicious contract behavior, decompile bytecode for early exploit signals, and identify potential victims in real time. These alerts form the backbone of Bitwise’s exploit escalation framework. If a watched collateral, vault, adapter, or related contract is implicated in a suspected exploit, the system can automatically reduce or remove exposure without waiting for manual intervention.
To support this, Bitwise is:
Asset managers are no longer just holding tokens. They are operating vaults, allocating across markets, and interacting directly with protocol logic. That shift requires risk systems that interpret contract behavior, identify exploit patterns in real time, and connect those signals directly to execution infrastructure.

Bitwise joins over 300 Web3 projects that rely on Hypernative’s real-time enterprise-grade platform that monitors over $100B worth of digital assets across more than 75 chains. The list includes Circle, Chainlink, Ethena, Galaxy, and Morpho.
The Hypernative platform uses battle-tested, sophisticated machine learning models, heuristics, simulations, and graph-based detections to identify threats with high accuracy and give customers precious minutes to respond before exploits can do damage. The system monitors security, technical, financial, governance and other risks. Hypernative Platform detected 99.5% of hacks last year with less than 0.001% false positive rate and saved $3B of funds to date.
