LI.FI Selects Hypernative to Screen Tokens Spanning 60+ Chains

LI.FI, the universal liquidity protocol, will use Hypernative's Token Screening to flag suspicious tokens before users interact with them.

Hypernative

LI.FI, the universal liquidity protocol that routes swaps across more than 60 blockchains for over 1,000 integration partners, has selected Hypernative to provide real-time token risk assessment across its platform.

The protocol is integrating Hypernative's Token Screening to evaluate each token and deliver a clear approve-or-deny recommendation that LI.FI and its integrators can act on. As onchain volume scales and new tokens proliferate, protocols like LI.FI face a growing exposure to scam tokens, rug pulls, and other fraudulent assets that can reach end users through automated routing.

We evaluated several providers, and what stood out about Hypernative was the binary, actionable recommendation on every token. Our integrators don't want to interpret a wall of parameters. They want a clear signal on whether a token is safe to trade, and Hypernative delivers that.

Clément Bihorel, Product Lead @ LI.FI

As part of the integration, LI.FI is running an initial screen of its full token database and calls the Hypernative API each time a new token is detected or added to the backend. This ensures that every token available through LI.FI's endpoints carries a security assessment. Integrators will receive the screening data alongside existing token metadata, giving them the option to filter or flag tokens based on Hypernative's recommendation without requiring changes to their own infrastructure.

Hypernative's Token Screening engine analyzes tokens across multiple dimensions, including smart contract code analysis, holder concentration, DEX and CEX trading data, deployer reputation and social channel verification. The system produces a single approve-or-deny recommendation backed by updates as market conditions and onchain data evolve.

As a universal liquidity protocol that aggregates and orchestrates liquidity across chains, LI.FI sits at a critical junction in the onchain economy. They route value across dozens of chains and hundreds of token pairs for thousands of downstream applications. Embedding token-level security intelligence at that layer protects the entire ecosystem downstream.
